On November 1, 2008, at the 4th Science and Technology Award Ceremony and the 9th National Conference on Engineering Blasting held by the China Blasting Association in Qingdao, our company’s “Research and Engineering Application of Blasting Technology for the Demolition of Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard Dock Cofferdam” won the First Prize. The “Blasting Demolition Technology for the Old Teaching Building (13 Floors) of Hangzhou Normal University” and the “Blasting Demolition Technology for Fushi No. 1 Bridge in Quzhou City” respectively received Third Prizes. The paper titled “Research and Engineering Application of Blasting Technology for Dock Cofferdam Demolition” was awarded the Outstanding Paper Prize at the 9th National Conference on Engineering Blasting.
