The First Zhejiang Blasting Forum Held in Zhoushan

The 2014 Annual Work Conference and Academic Exchange Meeting of the Blasting Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, together with the First Zhejiang Engineering Blasting Forum, was held in Zhoushan on November 2.

With the theme of “Discussion on the Harmful Effects of Blasting Vibration,” the Blasting Professional Committee selected 12 outstanding papers from submissions nationwide for presentation and academic exchange. Following this, the first Zhejiang Blasting Forum Exchange Meeting was held, where representatives from several well-known blasting construction enterprises in Zhejiang delivered academic presentations.

Four papers from our company were selected for the forum. Among them, Song Yanchao’s paper “Wavelet Packet Analysis of Vibration in Chamber Blasting” and Yu Yuanyuan’s paper “Blasting Demolition of No.1 Boiler Building at Chifeng Yuanbaoshan Power Plant” were invited for oral presentations and discussions. The authors engaged in in-depth exchanges with participants on the topics presented.
