From November 20 to 24, 2009, the 7th China Water Resources and Electric Power Engineering Blasting Conference was held in Sanya. Wang Hengfu attended the conference on behalf of the company.

At the meeting, Zhang Zhengzhong was appointed as a member of the Engineering Blasting Committee of the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society. The paper “Blasting Demolition Technology of Composite Ship Dock Cofferdam with Steel-Supported Piles” written by Jiang Yuefei won first prize, while “Preliminary Study on Seismic Effects of Ship Dock Cofferdam Demolition Blasting” written by Wang Hengfu won second prize.
