The 4th Meeting of the 7th Standing Council, the 3rd Meeting of the 7th Council and the 30th Anniversary Conference of the China Society of Explosives and Blasting (CSEB) convened in Changsha, Hunan Province from November 27 to 29, 2024. A four-person delegation led by the Chairman of Gaoneng Blasting attended the conference.

       The event reviewed the CSEB’s major achievements over the past 30 years and showcased outstanding progress made by the blasting sector in technological innovation and engineering practice. Awards were presented to young technical professionals, frontline skilled practitioners, groundbreaking research outcomes and benchmark projects within the industry. Gaoneng Blasting secured multiple honors at the ceremony. The research project Key Technology and Application for Precision Blasting Demolition of High-Rise Structures with Built-in Asymmetric Multi-Rigid-Body Configuration won the Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. Hu Weixing, an employee of the company, claimed first prize in the vocational skills competition.

       Over nearly three decades, Gaoneng Blasting has maintained focused development, optimized management systems and prioritized research and technological advancement. The company has overcome technical bottlenecks in blasting and mining operations and expanded its business scope, evolving from a specialized blasting service provider into a comprehensive construction enterprise focusing on mining works. To date, the company has obtained 11 scientific and technological progress awards, 4 provincial and ministerial-level construction methods, and more than 20 invention and utility model patents. One member of staff has been recognized as a National Outstanding Entrepreneur in the Blasting Industry, and five have been accredited as National Senior Skilled Personnel in Blasting. The enterprise has also participated in drafting more than 10 industry standards and specifications. Building on these accolades, Gaoneng Blasting will continue to forge ahead in blasting and mining sectors, contributing to the high-quality development of China’s blasting and mining industry.
