To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and consolidate and expand the achievements of thematic education, from November 13 to 16, the CPC Gaoneng Blasting Branch Committee organized Party members to travel to the red land known as the "Cradle of the People’s Republic". They visited Ruijin and Yudu in Jiangxi Province, as well as Changting in Fujian Province, to carry out the themed educational activity titled "Tracing the Red Footprints, Inheriting the Long March Spirit", drawing tremendous strength from the echoes of history.

Yudu: The Starting Point of the Great Long March — Stay True to the Original Aspiration and Embark on a New Journey

On November 14, the Party members arrived in Yudu, the assembly and departure site of the Central Red Army for the Long March. Standing at the "First Ferry of the Long March", it seemed as if the bugles of that great expedition 82 years ago could still be heard. Before the solemn Monument to the Departure of the Central Red Army on the Long March, all Party members took a group photo, eternally capturing this moment of reverence and remembrance.

Following the narrator’s account, the members visited the Memorial Hall of the Assembly and Departure of the Central Red Army for the Long March, revisiting the arduous and extraordinary years of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army. Pictures and historical artifacts vividly reproduced the profound bond between the military and civilians in the Soviet Area embodied in the story of "Ten Times Sending Off the Red Army", as well as the unshakable conviction of revolutionary martyrs that "Revolutionary ideals stand above all else". At Hewu, the former residence of Comrade Mao Zedong, all comrades deeply appreciated the hardworking and persevering spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries amid extreme hardships.

Changting: Perceive Ideals and Convictions, Uphold Devotion to the People

On November 15, the group travelled onward to Changting in Fujian. As the capital of the Fujian Soviet Area, it was hailed as the "Little Shanghai of the Red Revolution". The Party members visited the Former Site of the Fujian Provincial Soviet Government, Qu Qiubai Memorial Hall and General Yang Chengwu Memorial Hall in sequence. From the governance practices of the Soviet government, they gained a profound understanding of the original aspiration and mission of Communists to "serve the people wholeheartedly". During the visit, the General Manager of the company exchanged insights with the group from time to time, sharing his understanding of the history of the Red Army’s Long March and the revolutionary spirit. He stressed that we should draw wisdom and momentum for high-quality development from the glorious history of the Party.

Ruijin: Cherish the Source and Recall the Original Aspiration; Solemn Oath Forges the Party Spirit

On November 16, the group reached Ruijin, the "Red Capital", the final stop of the activity. A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was held in front of the Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower. Accompanied by the solemn Wreath Tribute Melody, two honor guards slowly carried the wreath toward the memorial tower. The Secretary of the Party Branch stepped forward to carefully adjust the ribbon on the wreath. Then, leading all Party members, he faced the bright red Party flag, raised their right fists, and renewed the oath of Party membership.

"I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China... I am ready at all times to sacrifice everything for the Party and the people, and never betray the Party."The resonant oath echoed across the square, demonstrating all Party members’ boundless loyalty to the Party and firm resolve to dedicate themselves to the cause for life. Afterwards, everyone circled the tower to pay homage, expressing boundless grief and highest respect for revolutionary martyrs.

At the site of the First National Congress of Chinese Soviets, comrades stood in silent tribute, bowed deeply three times, and sang The Internationale in unison. Amid the stirring melody, they comprehended the fearless spirit of revolutionary ancestors reflected in the line "So many aspirations have driven men to heroic sacrifice". Beside the Red Well in Shazhouba, they revisited the touching story behind the motto: When drinking water, remember those who dug the well; always keep Chairman Mao in mind. Scooping up the clear, sweet well water, every Party member gained a deeper understanding of the inseparable bond between the Party and the people, and a more genuine perception of the truth that "The nation belongs to the people, and the people are the foundation of the nation."
