June 2022 marked the 21st National Work Safety Month, with the theme “Follow the Work Safety Law and Fulfill Your Primary Responsibility.” In active response to the national initiative, and to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on workplace safety, the company held the Work Safety Month Launch Ceremony and Headquarters Safety Meeting on June 15, 2022.The event was attended by all headquarters personnel and heads of the company’s various units, with both online and in-person participation. The meeting was chaired by Tang Xiaozai, Deputy General Manager in charge of safety, while the Chairman, Executive Director, and General Manager each delivered remarks.

The meeting centered on the theme of Work Safety Month: “Follow the Work Safety Law and Fulfill Your Primary Responsibility.” Participants first watched the special documentary Life Is of Paramount Importance: Studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Statements on Work Safety, gaining a deeper understanding of the core principles and responsibilities of work safety management.The meeting then focused on an in-depth study of the Work Safety Law, emphasizing the importance of learning, respecting, and complying with the law, as well as understanding, fulfilling, and taking responsibility for work safety. The discussion aimed to further strengthen the company’s primary responsibility for work safety.Participants also actively shared their thoughts on how their respective departments and units could better fulfill their safety responsibilities and duties throughout Work Safety Month.


To ensure the effective implementation of the campaign, the company established a dedicated Campaign Organization and Support Team, headed by the Chairman, with the General Manager as deputy head and the heads of functional departments and branch offices (project departments) as members. Based on the campaign launch procedures and action plan, each branch office and project department was designated as the primary implementing unit.The company required all units to deepen their understanding and implementation of the principles of “three musts in safety management,” “dual responsibilities for each position,” “direct-line safety management,” and the principle that everyone is responsible for safety. Employees were encouraged to continuously study work safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; improve their safety awareness and skills; and proactively identify potential hazards. By addressing risks at their source, the company aimed to prevent and mitigate safety risks and ensure that its production and business activities remained free from avoidable risks and occupational injuries.
At the meeting, the General Manager read out the “Safety Initiative”, officially marking the launch of the company's Work Safety Month campaign.
