The 2nd Correspondents Meeting of China Blasting Association Held

On May 5, 2014, the China Association of Engineering Blasting held the 2nd Correspondents Meeting at Tianmu Lake Hotel in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. About 50 outstanding correspondents recommended by blasting associations, research institutions, universities, and construction enterprises nationwide attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Gao Yintong, Secretary-General of the association, and Wang Xuguang, Chairman of the association, delivered an important speech. Academician Wang introduced the publication of the China Engineering Blasting Association Newsletter and recognized its achievements. He emphasized the importance of the newsletter as a communication platform between the association and member organizations, encouraged correspondents to fulfill their responsibilities, and shared his writing experience.

The meeting also reviewed and approved documents including the Correspondents Management Regulations of the China Engineering Blasting Association Newsletter, the Code of Ethics for Chinese Journalists, and the Content Planning and Positioning of the China Engineering Blasting Association Newsletter. Certificates of appointment were issued to correspondents, and experienced correspondents shared their experiences in discovering news topics and writing news reports. Participants also conducted extensive exchanges and discussions.Two employees from our company, Jiang Yuefei and Wang Zhenyi, were appointed as correspondents of the China Engineering Blasting Association Newsletter, and Jiang Yuefei attended the meeting on behalf of the company.
