Company Party Branch Organizes Party Members’ Study Visit

On August 29, 2014, to further implement the Party’s mass line education and practice activities, the company’s Party branch organized Party members to visit Shajiabang Revolutionary Base and the Shajiabang Revolutionary History Memorial Hall. The visit paid tribute to revolutionary martyrs and revisited the history of the New Fourth Army’s struggle in Shajiabang. With the support and protection of local people and Party organizations, the New Fourth Army used the reed marshes as a natural barrier, fought against the Japanese and puppet forces, preserved and expanded revolutionary forces, and created a heroic chapter in the history of the Anti-Japanese War.

The group then visited Huaxi Village, known as the “No.1 Village in China,” where they learned about its development history and the advanced deeds of former Party Secretary Wu Renbao. Since its establishment in 1961, Huaxi Village has received numerous honors, including National Advanced Grassroots Party Organization, China Model Villagers’ Committee, and National Cultural Model Village Demonstration Site.

Through the visit, Party members gained a deeper understanding of how Huaxi Village’s Party members and officials have consistently followed national policies, responded to changing circumstances, overcome challenges, seized development opportunities, and achieved sustainable growth. After more than five decades of hard work, Huaxi Village has become a model of China’s socialist new countryside development and a remarkable example of common prosperity.The values promoted by Huaxi Village, including “enriching both material wealth and spiritual wealth,” “officials should listen to the people rather than expecting people to simply follow,” and “selecting, cultivating, and making full use of talented people,” as well as the slogan “Share blessings with the people, shoulder difficulties as officials” displayed in Huaxi Square, left a profound impression on all participants.
