Party Branch Activity: Visit to the Siming Mountain Anti-Japanese Base Area

On October 24, 2015, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, honor the martyrs who remained united and fought bravely against foreign invasion, and promote the core socialist values, our company’s Party branch organized a visit by its members to the former site of the Eastern Zhejiang Anti-Japanese Base Area in Siming Mountain.

The activity began with a visit to the Danshan Chishui Scenic Area in Siming Mountain, where participants appreciated the magnificent landscapes of the motherland. Featuring canyon scenery, Taoist culture, and the traditional village culture of eastern Zhejiang, the scenic area is known for its cliffs, unique rocks, ancient bridges, streams, and waterfalls. During the visit, participants were deeply impressed by the beauty of the country’s landscapes and the richness of its traditional culture, further strengthening their sense of national honor and pride.

The group then visited the former sites of the Eastern Zhejiang (Siming Mountain) Anti-Japanese Base Area, including the former site of the Party Committee, the headquarters of the New Fourth Army, the Eastern Zhejiang Administrative Office, and the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument. Through the historical sites, photographs, and relics on display, participants revisited the difficult history of the Chinese people’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and experienced the revolutionary spirit of the martyrs who sacrificed themselves and fought courageously for the nation.Through this activity, participants deeply realized that today’s peaceful and stable life was hard-won. As Communist Party members, they will keep the Party’s mission in mind, wholeheartedly serve the people, and strive to contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
