Second National Blasting Vibration Monitoring Technician Training Course Held in Xi’an
From July 27 to August 3, 2015, the Second National Blasting Vibration Monitoring Technician Training Course was held in Xi’an. A total of 178 trainees from across the country attended the opening ceremony. Academician Wang Xuguang attended the training and delivered an important speech. In his speech, Academician Wang pointed out that according to the Qualification Conditions and Management Requirements for Blasting Operation Units (GA990-2012), commercial blasting operation units must be equipped with vibration monitoring instruments and equipment. The newly revised Safety Regulations for Blasting (GB6722-2014) also set clear requirements for blasting vibration monitoring, stipulating that blasting vibration monitoring must be carried out for blasting projects above Grade D, and test results must be submitted to the information management system of the China Blasting Network.
He also noted that through continuous efforts by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and the China Association of Engineering Blasting, communication had been established with the National Standardization Administration, and the China Association of Engineering Blasting was organizing the drafting of the Technical Specification for Blasting Vibration Velocity Testing in Engineering Blasting. The specification requires blasting vibration monitoring technicians to receive professional training organized by industry institutions, pass assessments, obtain the Blasting Vibration Testing Qualification Certificate, and work with valid certification. Information regarding qualified technicians will also be recorded in the China Blasting Network information management system. Therefore, the organization of blasting vibration monitoring technician training courses represents an important step in implementing the Safety Regulations for Blasting and the Qualification Conditions and Management Requirements for Blasting Operation Units. It will further promote the scientific, standardized, and regulated development of blasting vibration monitoring technology in China’s blasting industry.
The training covered theoretical knowledge of blasting vibration monitoring, operation of the engineering blasting remote monitoring system, practical demonstrations, and simulated blasting vibration monitoring operations. Our company’s Song Yanchao, Wang Zhenyi, and Yu Yuanyuan participated in the training. Through this program, they improved their professional capabilities in blasting vibration monitoring and gained a deeper understanding of the field. The engineering blasting remote vibration monitoring system integrates blasting vibration monitoring technology, computer networking technology, cloud computing, big data, and Internet of Things technologies.
Under the new development trend of blasting vibration monitoring, the advancement of these technologies presents both challenges and opportunities for our company’s vibration monitoring business. Only by exploring new approaches and adapting to changes in the market can the company maintain competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.
