The Ninth Science and Technology Progress Award Ceremony of the China Blasting Industry Association was held at Beijing Railway Building on November 8, 2018. A total of 534 participants, including association leaders, council members, and representatives, attended the event. As the most authoritative, innovative, and influential scientific award in China’s blasting industry, the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Blasting Industry Association has received extensive attention and recognition from the industry, as well as strong support from relevant national authorities.

A total of 85 projects submitted by blasting-related organizations nationwide participated in this year’s award evaluation. After expert review and voting, 35 projects were selected for awards, including 9 first prizes, 17 second prizes, 8 third prizes, and 1 Special Contribution Award.

Relying on the “Quzhou Xian’anmen Old Bridge Blasting Demolition Project,” our company submitted the project “Safety Blasting Demolition Technology for Large Bridges Adjacent to Operating Bridges on Both Sides” for evaluation. Through expert discussions, academic consultations, careful preparation, achievement evaluation, and defense review, the project was highly recognized by the award committee and was ultimately awarded the First Prize of the Ninth Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Blasting Industry Association.
