As the 100‑day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games began, Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department rolled out a province‑wide coordinated campaign for Asian‑Games‑related security enhancement. It emphasized: “Prioritize hidden‑hazard remediation, exercise strict control over firearms and explosive materials, and forestall major public‑safety incidents.”

As the lead drafting entity for the Safety‑Technical Specification for Explosive‑Material Disposal Operations and a locally‑experienced blasting service provider for explosive‑ordnance disposal in Zhejiang, GN Energetic Blasting took on its social responsibility and provided active assistance to public‑security authorities in Wenzhou, Jinhua and Shengs‑County (Zhoushan) for centralized disposal of obsolete explosives to remove safety risks. Three disposal assignments were successfully completed on May 30, June 5 and June 16 respectively.

 This series of disposal operations covered more than 30 sub‑bureaus and ordnance‑related institutions across three prefecture‑level cities. The scope of disposed items is listed below:‑ Yongkang City: 29 obsolete artillery shells, 45 791 rounds of ammunition, 291 blasting detonators, 163.05 kg of black powder, and 2 tons of fireworks and firecrackers;‑ Lanxi City (including Jinhua Municipal Public Security Bureau): 78 obsolete artillery shells, 147 699 rounds of ammunition, 2 kg of black powder, 518 blasting detonators, 200 meters of detonating cord, and 121 CO₂‑blasting catalyst tubes;‑ Wenzhou City: 106 487 rounds of various ammunition (including over 20 000 rounds of φ32 mm riot‑control ammunition);‑ Shengsi County: 1 depth‑charge bomb, more than 500 marine distress signal flares, and over 10 000 rounds of assorted ammunition.

 Facing prominent challenges including multiple participating institutions, diverse hazardous articles and large‑volume disposal scope, the company attached high priority to the missions and adopted an operational principle of “site‑specific assessment, decentralized task allocation and continuous on‑site execution”. Professional disposal specialists were assembled to evaluate and optimize solutions covering ordnance identification, disposal methodologies, site selection, transportation protocols, staffing arrangements, safety protection and logistical support, so as to develop well‑tailored technical implementation plans. Senior management provided on‑site command, while the engineering‑technical department delivered rigorous project management. Over 60 experienced staff were mobilized from Wenzhou, Huzhou, Lishui and Zhoushan branch offices to carry out works at disposal sites in Yongkang, Lanxi, Dongtou and Shengsi. Targeting safe and efficient execution, three treatment approaches — detonation disposal, open‑air incineration and specialized‑chamber incineration — were applied in strict compliance with group‑standard technical requirements. Under the supervision and strong support of local public‑security authorities, all hazardous articles were thoroughly disposed of with zero omissions, marking the full success of the whole disposal campaign.

 Although these disposal assignments constitute only one component of Zhejiang’s overall security arrangement for the Asian Games, GN Energetic Blasting upheld its pragmatic work ethos of pursuing high‑level positioning and stringent standards, and fully aligned itself with provincial security initiatives. The company’s practical contributions demonstrate its substantial sense of responsibility in safeguarding the Asian‑Games‑event security.
