At 11:50 a.m. on September 19, 2019, following the detonation command, our company successfully completed the disposal mission of more than 100 shells confiscated by the Wenzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau.

Recently, our company undertook the centralized disposal of more than 100 old and new shells collected by the Wenzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau in cooperation with public security authorities from various districts and counties. The items included several types of ammunition, such as aerial bombs, mortar shells, anti-aircraft shells, and air-defense shells, as well as dozens of grenades and hand grenades, nearly 100 electric detonators, fireworks shells, and TNT charges. The storage of these hazardous materials posed significant safety risks. After receiving the disposal task, our company attached great importance to the operation, carefully developed a disposal plan, assigned dedicated personnel, and mobilized effective resources, including manpower and equipment, to support Wenzhou public security authorities in eliminating safety hazards and ensuring a safe National Day period.

Due to the variety and large quantity of ammunition involved, the disposal site was specially selected in a mountain valley dozens of kilometers away from Nanshan Village, Furong Town, Yueqing City, Wenzhou. The site featured an open view and favorable environmental conditions, making it suitable for safety control and ensuring a high level of operational security. Before the disposal operation, our company held a pre-operation meeting to reassess potential hazards and safety risks during the process, and established dedicated teams for disposal, security control, and protection, with unified coordination and command by designated personnel.

This disposal mission served as a practical test of our company’s professional capabilities and technical experience. It also provided valuable experience in exploring, improving, learning, and accumulating methods for the safe and effective large-scale elimination of hazardous sources such as ammunition. Through professional expertise, strict procedures, and effective safety measures, our company successfully controlled potential risks within expected limits.

The successful completion of this disposal mission was made possible by the strong support of the Wenzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, public security authorities at district and county levels, and the Furong Town police authorities. The operation also received unanimous recognition and high praise from government leaders at all levels and local residents.
