In the warm month of July, the first group of employees travelled to Chongqing and the Three Gorges. They rode the Yangtze River Cableway, a landmark witnessing the city’s transformation, and visited the Great Hall of the People. The group admired the spectacular night views of Hongyadong and both banks of the Yangtze River, paid tribute to revolutionary martyrs at Zhazidong Prison Site, experienced Bayu local culture at Ciqikou Ancient Town, and sampled authentic S‑style cuisine near Jiefangbei.
The team then boarded a cruise ship for the Three Gorges cruise. Departing from Chongqing, the voyage unfolded amid rolling green mountains and clear waters, with layered mountain ranges presenting continuous breathtaking scenery. Tour stops included Fengdu Ghost City, Baidi City and the Goddess Sky Road, showcasing nature’s magnificent landscape gallery. Employees also visited the Three Gorges Dam, the world‑largest water‑conservancy hub project. They gained insight into the project ethos of “science‑driven democracy, solidarity and collaboration, pursuit of excellence and continuous self‑improvement”. Standing on the highest viewing platform at Tanziling, visitors enjoyed the grand panoramic river view, before proceeding by shuttle bus to the 185‑meter‑elevation observation deck for close‑up views of the dam and its imposing scale.
Meanwhile, the Wenzhou Branch selected a more interactive destination — Xishuangbanna — according to its own schedule and preferences, reflecting young team members’ energy and vitality.
Amid Xishuangbanna’s picturesque natural scenery, employees took part in technical and thrilling all‑terrain‑vehicle off‑road challenges for immersive sensory experiences. The off‑road adventure served as a team‑building activity, bringing joy of shared achievements and satisfaction from mutual support, and deepened mutual understanding and friendships. The group also visited scenic spots including the Wild Elephant Valley, Primitive Forest Park, Great Buddha Temple and Manting Park. They enjoyed local fruit feasts and the Dai Royal Banquet, and experienced the Golden Triangle Mekong speed‑boat tour, the Dai Water‑Splashing Festival and bonfire‑party events.
The Three Gorges trip allowed participants to appreciate magnificent natural landscapes while building deeper understanding of the Three Gorges Project spirit. The Xishuangbanna team‑building enriched staff leisure‑time experience, strengthened teamwork and organizational cohesion. To meet diverse employee needs, the company trade union will arrange additional travel routes and varied cultural‑sports events in the second half of the year to support employees’ physical and mental well‑being.
