On December 9, 2023, the 2nd Session of the 7th Council Meeting and the 2nd Session of the 7th Executive Council Meeting of the China Blasting Industry Association convened in Changsha, Hunan Province. During the award ceremony for 2023 scientific‑and‑technological achievements in the blasting industry, the company was awarded two ministerial‑level construction methods.


Developed based on the company’s extensive project experience in disposal of obsolete ordnance, the Construction Method for Disposal of Obsolete Explosives by Covered‑Blasting in Open‑Pit Crater takes fundamental detonation‑disposal theories as its theoretical basis. It defines disposal operations under a broad scope and incorporates pre‑requisite procedures including ordnance property identification, quantity inventory and disposal‑plan review into the full workflow. Refined control measures are implemented across all operational phases: classification and packaging, loading‑unloading and handling, transportation, site preparation, crater excavation and explosive charging. Integrated drone‑assisted VR monitoring ensures full‑process safety. The method delivers safe and controllable disposal performance and reaches an advanced technical level within China.

The second certified method, Large‑Diameter Deep‑Hole Blasting Demolition Construction Method for Deck‑Through Spandrel‑Filled Arch Bridges, draws on the company’s track record of multiple bridge‑demolition blasting projects. It adopts a hybrid large‑diameter deep‑hole blasting technique combining regular pier holes and end‑loosening holes to improve both construction efficiency and cost‑effectiveness. Adopting a philosophy of “priority control combined with mitigation measures for blasting‑induced hazards”, the technology reduces hazard risks and environmental pollution, and also represents domestically advanced technical standards.

The two ministerial‑level construction method certifications recognize GN Energetic Blasting’s continuous efforts in technological innovation.
