To enrich employees’ cultural and recreational activities and enhance their awareness of fitness, our company held the First Employee Basketball Tournament on October 24, 2020, in response to the nationwide fitness initiative and the enthusiasm surrounding the Asian Games.

The tournament adopted a “four-a-side half-court round-robin” format, with four teams and 24 players representing the company headquarters, Wenzhou Branch, and Geological Disaster Control Branch participating in the competition. Upholding the sporting spirit of “Friendship First, Competition Second,” all teams worked together and gave their best efforts. On the court, players delivered impressive performances with smart positioning, accurate passes, three-point shots, and layups, while cheers and applause from the sidelines filled the venue.

After three rounds of intense competition, the company headquarters team won the championship title of the first employee basketball tournament. With strong support from the company labor union and management, as well as the dedicated assistance of logistics volunteers, the tournament came to a successful conclusion amid laughter and joy.

Through this labor union activity, communication and interaction among the company’s various units and employees were strengthened, while employees’ sense of collective honor and cohesion was enhanced. The event fully demonstrated the united, harmonious, and determined spirit of “Gaoneng people.”

Going forward, the company labor union will continue to organize basketball tournaments and other diverse cultural and recreational activities as part of its regular efforts. These activities will encourage employees to embrace a positive, healthy, and energetic attitude in both work and life, contributing to the vibrant development of employee culture in Xihu District.
